Black Eagle was operated by C.E. Glasman and Sons, Larry and Marshall (father of Miles) and was a strong Angus force in Mantoba during the 50's 60's & 70's, showing across Canada and in Denver. In 1969 they exhibited Boniagra Ankonian 306122 known as 'Northern Giant' at the Chicago International, standing second to 'Great Northern'. In the 1970's the Coalbridge prefix enjoyed great success across North America, especially with progeny of Marshall of Southolm 54W, a 1967 purchase at the Lethbridge Bull Sale from Southolm Angus. A son, Coalbridge Marshall 15th, topped the Cross-Country Sale in 1970 and was a sire of the year award winner on several occasions.
